Continued website tutorial!

Hello Incredible Friends!

Before we get started, an exciting announcement: Incredible Years is now on Twitter! Follow us for up to date news and information!

Moving along…

We wanted to finish up the main portion of our website tutorial. We hope this has been useful as you all get used to the new website! As always, feel free to contact us at any time with questions about where things can be found on our website.

This last tutorial is going to explore the side bar section of the website. There are some very important things here! On almost every page you visit in the website, you will see a side bar on the right hand side. There will be three sections: “Learn More,” “Quick Menu,” and “Newsletter Sign up.”

Let’s start with the “Learn More” section. Depending on where you are in the website, the links here will change. These are very important links! They will lead to further information based on the section of the website you are looking at. For example, if you go to the orange tool bar and hover over “Programs” and then click “Parent Training Programs” you will be taken to the main page for parent programs. The “Learn More” section then has links to each of the different parent programs with specific information to each program. See the illustration below!

The next two sections in the side bar, “Quick Menu” and “Newsletter Sign up” will be the same no matter what page you are on. The Quick Menu has links to common sections of the site, such as the Frequently Asked Questions and Workshop Schedule. The Newsletter Sign Up is just what is sounds like! If you have not yet had a chance to sign up for our monthly newsletter, you are welcome to use this Opt-In form to do so (you can unsubscribe at any time). Our newsletters contain information on upcoming trainings, new research, product information, and more!

8/21/2013 – Continued Tutorial

Hello!

You may notice that our blog has a new look to it! We are happy to announce we have moved over to a wordpress.com blog. You can now leave comments on our posts, search by tags, categories, and archives, and you can even follow us if you have your own WordPress blog!

*Please Remember: We are looking for guest bloggers! If you have an experience with the Incredible Years you would like to share, please e-mail it to: incredibleyears@incredibleyears.com with “Guest Blog” as the subject line*

If you want to head back over to the Incredible Years® main website, click the “Return to Incredible Years Website” link at the top right hand corner of the window.

We’d like to continue our tutorial of our new website by finishing up the exploration of the home page. If you subscribe to our newsletter, you will have already seen this, but repetition never hurts!

We’ve already shown you the main navigation buttons in the top section of the home page, as well as the overview video. But there are more important links if you SCROLL DOWN on that page. If you are already an Incredible Years® Group Leader, Peer Coach, Mentor or Trainer, you will want to utilize this section!! This is where the resources and certification information now live.

Even further down you will see information on Incredible Years® books and upcoming Trainings!

Stay tuned – in the next couple of days we will feature our FIRST GUEST POST from Carolyn Webster-Stratton, developer of the Incredible Years® – she will be providing a summary of an exciting new meta analysis that has just come out about the Incredible Years® programs.

Welcome to the new Incredible Years® Website!

Hello Incredible Friends!

We want to welcome you to our new website – we hope that you find this new version improved and more user friendly than our previous site. We have compiled feedback from over the years and have done our best to incorporate requests. The website will be a work in progress for a little bit of time, as we continue to work out any kinks. PLEASE LET US KNOW if you find any broken links, pictures that don’t load, or if you notice something is missing. Additionally, do not hesitate to call or e-mail us if you have questions about the new layout or where to find things.

An exciting aspect about this new website is that we are able to incorporate this blog! We hope you will check back for Incredible Years® news and updates. We also plan to feature guest bloggers. This will focus on mentor/trainer experiences with workshops, agency experiences with implementation, and group leader experiences running groups.
